How told me about pictus purring?

Hi,

I was feeding my fry, when i heard a sort of creaking, squeaking sort of noise. I though the stand was giving way to the wight of the tank! I looked closer any my pair of pictus were making the purring noise. Not the normal clicking sound when they fight. Its amazing

Anyone else hear this?

I haven't heard it, but I felt the vibrations that they produce, freaky!

The other day i put my hand in the tank to move a rock and one of the pictus swam at my hand and jabbed me with his fin barb! Gave me a decent scratch!
