I've got to do my filters today, and I can't even break my no-daytime-drinking rule to get me through it I think I'd rather be at work and dry.

Left the kitchen door open to let out some light. Missus wasnt happy, made the house cold....although it is quite mild now!

well it depends on your tank size. if your tank is already set up, don't add it to the tank and then water. dechlorinate the water before you add it to the tank. if you have a small tank, you can use something like a 1 gallon milk jug. or if your tank is bigger, i suggest the 5 gallon bucket. then add it to the tank.
