Hi all,

1st post here and need some advice. I have a Biocube 29 - with everything pretty much stock. It has a diffuser that shoots water into the tank, but the flow back in tank is very strong. I would like to slow it down or diffuse it somehow. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
E

There isn't an adjustment lever on it? What model is it?

God Bless,
Joshua

@ crash - it is a Oceanic Biocube29 gallon. It has a little plastic nozel that shots water into the tank from the pump.

@ shroob - a spray bar may work but are they attached by hose? this has a hard plastic on it. Wish I could post a pic for you to see.....

thanks for the quick help

Ah - I have discovered something called Locline - I think I will try that to diffuse the water flow a bit. Seems like I can fashion some kind if spray bar setup if I need to.

I will try and post a pic when done if that will help anyone else...

hi why dont you try the cut bottle tactic that one of the users used for his fighters, im sure someone remembers what tim talking about, he cut a bottle and hooped it around the outflow of his penguin filter i think it was and it completely killed the current,
ill try and find it and post a link

for my fry tank, i pipe down the water all in a way into the tank such that water exits only at the bottom of the tank, against the glass, killing the current
