How to send off & dispose junk mail...

Today i am sending:

A mint - for fresh breath
2 cable twists - to keep cables tidy
A flashing christmas tree (broken) - flashes when your phone rings (or did)
An empty 'Lockets' wrapper - used when i had a sore throat
A cardboard liner from a box of 'Matchmakers' - i ate these earlier
An advert for a sex line - i've not called it but the recipient of the envelope might?
A plant ident tab - from my tank plants
An empty ceral bar wrapper - my girlfriend just ate this
A bank note from some dodgy country - can't remember where it came from

All this is being sent to some nice person at Screwfix direct :D

Forgot about this... Some Classic banter here!!

You guys are nuts - that's hillarious !

You should re-open General Talk so we can get more banter going ;)

I must put some of these into effect though.

Arfie

Oh too funny, I'd forgotten all about this. We just moved and I now have a stack of junk mail. I have now been inspired. :hey:

I remember this aswell, great thread :p

Anyone else gonna take the plunge?

DD

yep, after drying my eyes (just read this thread for the first time) i'm searching the office for a suitable envelope.

i'll definatly take up williams security tape idea. i really am crying no joke, so funny.

What a great thread this is! Capital One have been sending me crap since before I was even old enough to have a credit card! They must pay!
Next one I get I will let you know what I send ;)

A really fun one that I've read about is send a handful of pennies (this adds a lot of weight, so it costs the company more to mail it). Then call them after it's been received, tell them you made a mistake and demand they send you your money back.

Ooh... I found a freepost slip thing from Norwich Union Direct.... This might be fun :hyper: I'll post up the fruits of my labour later, then post it when I can.

OK, contents are-

1 small button
A computers for schools voucher I cut into a pretty spiral shape
An unused free top up card with the words 'HI' and a smiley face carved into the scratch off panel
A rusty peg
The corner from a peanut packet
An out of date Claire's Earring Club card
A stick
Some glitter
I put instructions to open the slip thing, and filled it in :D
I also added 'if undelivered please return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft + Wizardry' on the back :D
It says 'HO, HO, HO! Merry Christmas' on the front and I drew some pretty stars on it.
