like i was saying in the topic my little otocinclus are having to almost fight for a taste of an algea waffer.I've tried feeding the danios and cherry barb flakes to keep them on top but as soon as they finish that they head for the bottom to start pecking at the waffer. My biggest oto is the only one down there in the mix while the other two oto stick to the glass in fear.Should i leave the waffer in for 2 days in stead of overnight since oto feed better at night?

If it's still in there when you turn the lights back on your danios will probably take care of it. I have mollies that hog the algae wafers but they don't bother my cories and the cories pretty much ignore them. After I get my pleco this week I'm going to put the wafer in at night after I turn the lights out.

After the lights have been off for a few minutes, break up the wafer and spread it around the tank.

Algae pellets give the bottom feeds more chance as they are small you add many, plus they have to be found.

I would suggest this too!

Algae wafers get eaten by Molly's and Danio's, In my Tank. But i've seen my Plec with pellets in her Gob!
