well... you might want a 10-25% daily...
How long are you going to continue to give info on a subject you have no experience with?

Listen to bettaman. His proof is in his beautiful spawns. 75% is about what I do daily when I have a spawn.

lubear are u by any chance the person who thought betta fry just magicly turned up in his tank?

yes I was. and for your information, they did just turn up in my tank. That tank was empty for a whole day before I noticed some fry. I didn't know which type of fry they were because fry almost look exactly identical. I searched up betta fry on google and it came up with pictures that looks just like my fry. So I bought it. I'm an idiot? I dont think so. A beginner at breeding? I am.

Now, I simply read on the internet to change the water 10-25% daily. I was also told by one of you top breeders(thats what you said) to do the same thing.

Relax, i think they meant you should triple check your sources before posting.

May I ask how the fry got in your tank? Were there bettas in there at one point? Surely you noticed the bubblenest?

Livebearer fry are quite different from betta fry. Perhaps it would be wise to take that into consideration before you give advice. When it comes to fish, what's good for the goose is not always necessarily good for the gander...

I'd trust Bettaman on this one, considering that he actually has experience breeding the type of fish this thread is about.

cla55y19,

Don't worry so much! The methods you have aren't going to kill them, obviously. It's just going to stunt their growth some. If you follow our advice, you'll get faster growing, healthier, more beautiful Bettas. And don't just off them and start over (I'm really hoping I read that wrong, and it wasn't what it sounded)...just start doing the best things for them now.

haha funny i dont just breed livebearer fry! that is just my main thing! i have breed some gouramis before! and i have been researching betta breeding for a few years now (considering i only am 15 so i guess maybe 2 years)

I do 100% water change. LOL  Oh yeah, get a big long plastic container like 20 to 30 gallon. Works so good and they are so cheap. :)

that one big picture of the betta in your sig looks like a chameleon...
