How To Feed Turbo Snail Dried Seaweed

Good day,

I had lots of algae before so I got 4 turbos, they were doing a great job, but after I setup UVS
I realized that algae does not grow as much as it was before.
I have some dried seaweed, does anybody know how I can feed it to the turbo snails?

The way I feed seaweed to mine is to either anchor it with a weight or clip, or when I'm lazy (most of the time lol) I just wet the strip and stick it half in and half out of the water to the side of the tank.
