How To Break Water Current?

hello there, i'm a n00b willing to learn

right now i only have 1 ghost shrimp (planning to get couple more) with 2 african dwarf frogs in a 10g tank.

i would like to break the current of the water to make it almost still (apparently ADFs like it better) that's caused by my filter. i've got an aqua clear 20, and i have to place it on the middle of the wall because of the canopy.

i wanna break the water flow before it goes in the water. any lil tricks?

my last option would be to have a tall rock to break the current, but i really wanna break it before it goes in the water.

i heard that they would if the shrimps are small enough, and that it's not good for digestion

on the other hand, if they're the same size, they've live in perfect harmony

None of my frogs have eaten any shrimp.
