How the heck do you guys net your fish?

Having worked at one time for a saltwater shop, I'll pass along what I learned there. Use 2 nets. Or 1 net and your hand. Think like the fish, choose the path that they will take, and place one of the nets there and do not move it. Use your hand or the other net to drive the fish out of hiding and into the waiting motionless net. Takes a little practice, different species behave differently when being netted, you'll soon catch on.
Just please don't chase the fish around the tank with a net. It only creates stress for the both of you.

LOL, I like a "hands on" approch. lol. I don't have a salt water tank, but that trap ease sounds nice. Anyway, you could always try grabbing by hand. lol, mom moved plecos a few times that way when she got tired of using the net for 3 hours to catch. lol.

Or maybe rent a crane... lift the tank, and shake out the fish. lol. I'm joking I hope you know. :D

But I must admit, I've always wondered how to get fish out of big tanks, or how to get them out with lots of stuff, or large fish, and I still don't get cleaning gravel with lots of stuff in the tank, how does it not move? Strap on scuba gear and jump in, go fish. lol
