How Strange Is Your Pet?

Lola is odd, every morning when she wakes up and is let outside the first thing she does is roll around in the snow. Then she will lay on her back in the snow with her legs wide open for about 10 minutes. She also sits in front of the window and watches the cars go by in the morning, she sits on the ottoman looking outside for about half an hour or so.

Also, when she sleeps (mostly on my bed) she will start at the bottom, then after a while will climb to the top of the bed with her head resting on the pillow beside me and her feet by my feet she will stretch out longways and sleep right against me as though she was a person.

This evening Lola was very odd and for the first time, when my boyfriend moved his chair out from the table to sit, she non chalantly climbed into the chair and sat down lol

Lu-Li our kitten makes some very strange noises, her usual running round the house playing noise sounds just like dr zoidberg from futurama. and if you give her a treat like some left over meat she takes it in her mouth runs away with it and will sit holding it in her mouth growling for 5 mins before eating...... during which time mitts our other cat has happily scoffed all the rest of the treats left in both bowls

Jingo use to do that when you gave him something weird, like a lychee's fruit. He'd just hold it in his mouth and wowl until he decided to spit it out and examine it.

Incidentally, Ziggy (of my earlier show-jumping post) could also say hello. Not on command, but sometimes you'd say "Hello Ziggy" and he'd just say hello back, lots of people had heard him do it, not just family. Very odd animal. He also got in to any parked cars with open doors, we lost him a few times that way, people would drive off then drive back a few minutes later and get out then come walking round the side, looking confused, with this gray stripy idiot under their arms and we'd have to go claim him.

Cats are odd anyway, I am never surprised by anything cats do. I'm a dog person myself :)

Cream's favorite toys (or actually, the only toys he'll play with) are bottle caps. You put one down, he pats it around with its paws, then he picks it up with his mouth and lay down somewhere with it between his paws. Eventully, he'll pick it up again and drop it to your feet, until you throw it again.

Try giving him the cap from a gallon of milk, my cats go absolutely crazy over them! They also like twisty ties and staws.

My Pleco will eat by swimming up to the top of the tank snf float on his back and eat flake. Also, my pike livebearer will sit in one spot and lung at a guppy and turn around, look at me and grin.

I have two cats, they're both weird.

Bailey is a 16lb scaredy cat. He growls like a dog when he gets new toys, or "rediscovers" ones that have been sitting on the floor for weeks. He also grunts and snorts when he gets really exited, and snores when he's sleeping. His favorite toys are rubber bands. He also talks alot, when he was younger and somebody would call and leave a message on the answering machine, he would sit in front of the phone and meow and chirp the whole time the person was talking. When he gets bored, and feels I'm not giving him enough attention, he'll go around the house and bang the cupboard doors. His favorite time of day is bath time. I'll get in the shower, and if he isn't already in the bathroom, as soon as he hears the shower curtain, he'll come tearing in and jump between the liner and curtain, then paws open the liner and licks the water running down the wall. He's even scared the crap out of me by getting in the tub and licking the backs of my legs. Nothing's scarier than being half asleep in the shower and suddenly "something" is licking your legs. The fluffy butthead.

Dinah is the smaller of the two and is a pretty typical cat, although extremely friendly, everyone is his best buddy. The only strange thing he does is attack my head. If I lay down, he'll run over and tangle himself up in my hair, he really likes grabbing my ears, which feels really strange (he's declawed), he even kicks me with his back paws, but never uses his claws. He doesn't attack my head when I lay on a pillow, but get off the pillow and I'm fair game.

My kitties also follow me when I walk. It's odd to see a line of 6 or more cats following me. (Sometimes they are not all mine) They will wait until I'm done and follow me home . The silliest cat and the ringleader is Rachel who's 6. She loves popcorn and will sit in front of whoever is eating it and tap them on their knees to get some. She hates dogs and will chase them if they come in the yard. She's even gotten the others to chase them with her. The neighbors rottie is terrified of them now and stays out of the yard. In bad weather Rachel insists on coming inside and will knock on the door to be let in. I have to make sure hubby goes to bed first because if I do she won't let him in the bed and growls at him. He kicked her out of the bedroom one night and she got even by pooping in his shoes. Luckily he noticed before putting them on.

My cat Bob thinks every box, and I mean every box brough into the house is his. He will get into any size box as long as it is empty, one time I caught him getting into the box my new cell came in, let me remind you he weighs 22lbs. Also he will greet you at the door, fetch, answer when called, and lets you scratch his stomach. I believe he thinks he is a dog.

Yes, that is his tongue sticking out, his is not the brightest buld on the tree... :/

Cream's brother Oreo (who belongs to my best friend) loves boxes. We're in the basemen and you see this little grey and white kitten charging and jumping into a box. He always does that, but he's cute

My friend's hamster Comet played hid-and-go-seek too. We'd put her in the little ball and then she went hide. And when we finally gave up looking fo her we'd yell "You can come out now" and she'd roll in, sadly she died a couple of years ago when she over bled :rip:

Haha, reading this is so funny.

I have a cocker spaniel who snores and sleeps on his back in the middle of the hallway. Sometimes, when he's sleeping, he'll give a toot and startle himself awake. He'll look at his bum, around to see what could possible make the noise, then go back to sleep. XD

Sometimes he'll bow to you, also. When I get back from school, he'll stretch/bow to me. XD And he says hello by an elongated growl separated into measures. Like: "WROO-OO-OO-OO-OO-oo....." and wag his stubby little tail.

I can love him to death, if that's possible. <3
