How strange is/are your pets? Do they make weird sounds, sleep in awkward positions/places, like the weirdest food, play in the oddest ways? Explain!

My cat makes the weirdest noises. He rarely meows, only when he's annoyed or wants to go out. But every morning when you say "Hello Cream!" He greets you with a "hhhm" It's a very odd soun so it's hard to explain it. He also puts his head up like he wants to give you a kiss. He always answers like that. sometimes he answers with a "me-ow-ow". He really has his own way of "talking"!
He also loves to sleep under beds and in sinks.

Our cat, Willow, has a tendency to snore loudly when she's in a deep sleep. I wouldn't mind so much but she sleeps on the back of the sofa just behind my head!
She also likes to eat my hair just after I've washed it. She perches on my shoulder and has a good root around my hair for 10 minutes. Then she decides that my shoulder is quite comfy and has a kip there.
Her favourite trick is headbutting me when she wants a fuss. She nudges my head and won't stop until I show her some attention!

My male poodle loves to hump other male dogs lol..and yes he is neutered!

Sasha has a real hang up about injuries and broken nails.

If you have an injury, like a cut on your hand, she insists on nursemaiding it until she deems it either "clean enough" or "better". She will inspect it for about five minutes before choosing a course of action (lol) then groom it until she is satisfied she has taken good care of you. Dan calls her Nurse Sasha.

Also, if you have broken a nail, finger or toe, and she finds out, you better be prepared to sit still while she fixes it for you. She gets in and sort of "feels" all over it with her mouth, then using her little front teeth, not the canines, she nibbles on it until she has trimmed it flat and smooth. This is actually very helpful when you have broken a nail and it's gone too short but jagged, she can get in there and trim it without hurting you. She spits the nail bits out

That's sort of a bit gross - but she's real insistent that she takes care of it.

btw mommyOf2Bettas - there is a whole website about cats in sinks, it's called CatsInSinks, LOL - find it here: www.CatsInSinks.com

*sings* We're on the island of misfit toys....

My dog eats tennis balls, golfballs, sticks. Tries to roll around and play with 30-40lb rocks, one time she kept going until her muzzle was bleeding and she kept playing with it barking, whining and yelping at it. And for some reason when she brings over a bball or any large ball she keeps it in her mouth and insists u to kick it hard. So I do then she comes back and wants more, she loves to rough house.

Her favorite thing to do it go byby, swimming, or play with the ball and me outside. Smart dog to, knows left and right paw. Im teaching her who she is, who I am, and to watch tv. all the other animals are kinda normal dogs/cats/fish

I have 2, 15 year old brothers. lol they fight like they were still kittens. its odd you get a full blown fight, but i total silence!!!

Both like to follow me everywhere. i take my little girl to the bus everyday, lol the bus driver calls me the pied piper, with 2 cats walking just behind me! one of them will follow me 1/2 a mile or more, to the local shop, crossing a busy road. though he normally waits for me to carry him across the road. when we get to the shop he sits in an adjourning garden till i come out.

My old cat Ziggy use to follow me like that, we lived on a long road and he would follow you to the bottom, along everyones garden wall and jumping over the garden gate gaps, looked like this: ____/\____/\____/\____/\___ - like watching show jumping.

But he was dimwit and he didn't look at roads so we had to run to get away from him, or he'd get to the bottom of the road then just wander around. No road sense.

I possibly have some of the strangest pets on earth. 2 siamese cats, Obi and Misha( completely different characters) and a Golden retriver saffron (formely Saffy or saff).

Obi is the posh one who loves chicken, warmth and sleep. He rarely goes outside and when we force him too he scratches me. He is scared of all other cats but all other dogs (Except for saffron) are scared of him. When he sleeps, he dreams and if he sits on your lap you can feel each leg moving slightly as if he's running in his dream. he is quite for a siamese and only meows for food.

Misha is the opposite. She purrs if you go near her and makes such a loud noise for such a small thing. She'll go out side in storms and try and squeeze into cupboards, shes very nosy. She loves the dog, and sleeps with her and rubs into her, the dog feels a bit awkward. Two things they share is there supierity against dogs. And there hunting abilities. You name it, they've caught it. Shrews, mice, voles, moles, Frogs, newts, birds, rats, snakes, fish (once) and yesterday for the first time they caught a baby rabbit. (It was OK) She's fallen in the pond on a few occasions and got stuck hanging on fly paper.

Saffron is a very loyal dog and mainly sits around and follows you. She sometimes howls like a wolf which is quite amusing and SHEdoes it in her dreams. She enjoys enjoys chasing squirels and is scared of smaller dogs.

Cheers,
Mike

Lisa - possibly the best one-line post I have ever seen!
