How Small Of A Tank Can A Gt Live In Comfortably

Male GT's get to between 8-10", the Bocourti you've got reaches at least 12".... I hope you will be getting a MUCH bigger take soon. I saw a GT and an Oscar today in my lfs which were badly stunted and it choked me up seeing them like that. Please do the right thing and get a large tank for large fish!

I am not getting these fish rite now. I know when I get older I'm getting a 125 USG and keeping a single male with some bottom dwellers like Rapheals, or getting a pair. I would like to do bocourti too but, waiting till I can house GTs before I get them. But sadly this will be atleast till I'm 18, maybe 16-17 if my grandparents allow it or I move in with my parents. My dad used to love kepping cichlids, He's actually looking for a 100 USG and is going to keep a single male Jag. But, this has to wait.
