How Old Before They Breed?

Hi

My wife & I love the manic behaviour of the Albino Corys, We have 3 & although I've just started fishkeeping a few months ago, the birth of approx 1.25 zillion baby Plattys ( unless I've counted 1 or 2 twice ) I'm hooked. Can't wait for the Corys & Dawrf Gurami to start breeding.

My question, how old before the corys start to breed?

Is there a site that give breeding ages for the various types of fish?

I think they take about 1.5 years to grow to maturity though it might be slightly more or less. You'll know they're mature when you can definitely identify them by sex. Male being slimmer, female being slightly larger in body.
