how often???

My new betta ate today since i got him on sunday. For a treat i gave him a little of bloodworms. How often can I give him bloodworms and do they eat other frozen foods. I always have different types on hand, especially when I get my green spotted puffer, that is there diet.

frozen/live food is good for them a couple of times a week. Mine like bloodworms, artemia, beefheart (I cut it up small as its quite big chunks) and tubifex to name a few. The rest of the time I use flakes/pellets or granules if I'm not conditioning for breeding. Variety is the spice of life

i do have betta food, i always give my fish a range of foods, thank you for the reply. He can't have anymore until next week now.

that would be a good idea to set dates for treats for all of my tanks. I have 3 soon 4 Actually five because of betta tank, forgot about that one.
