how often should one change the tubes in there T8 lighting unit. Not sure how old the tubes I have are as i bought my tank second hand.

I was always told after every year of average use. could you ask the chap that you got the tank of v how long he had it for.

Thanks for the reply. well I have had it since March, so they must need replacing, Replacing them wont hurt, so I will get some this weekend.

Your new one may not look any brighter but will be better for the plants (dont think that makes any sence)if you no what i mean
