How Often To Amano Shrimp Shed Skin?

As it says in the title. Lots of bits of exoskelton lying around at the mo, not sure if they are dieing or shedding, is there a way to tell?

I"ve never seen any of my FW shrimp molt, although, they can. My lobster would molt frequently while alive. Leave the molt in as it will be eaten. If the shrimp looks whole and you can see it....it's alive, right? SH

Amano shrimp shed quite regularlyl IME, especially if they're well fed.

Dead shrimp look totally different. They often will look an opaque pink colour.

Exoskeletons are transulecent.
