How often should I feed Angelfish and Gourami's

Hi All,

You may have seen my introductory post about how having to research on cleaning out a tank got me wanting to start the hobby. Well the fish that were in the tank are now with me whilst we find a more permanent solution as it is not practical for me to keep going and feeding every couple of days as it is too busy given the current climate and using public money to pay someone to feed them is not something we want to do. So for the time being I am fostering them.

So my question is how often and how much should I feed them. There are 4 Angelfish and 2 Gourami's. For food, which was with the fish, is Sainsbury's tropical fish flake food.

If they were doing fine on every couple of days then stick to every couple of days. If you feed them everyday theyll eat and as such will create more waste which require more water changes. I feed my fish 3 times a week and they do fine as does the tank. Find what works for you and the fish and try and stick to a schedule.
