I've heard so many different opinions

every 10 days.....every 4 weeks,

please someone tell me what is recommended

Depends on stock / water volume / nutrient export etc but 10% per week is a good place to start

i change mine about the same range of 10 - 20 % of water per week depending on my nitrates.

I do a water change whenver whenever I need to. Some times its once a week some times its once a month. Monitor the nitrates and change as needed.

I do a saltwater change when I can be bothered travelling to get NSW. When the weathers bad, I mix synthetic salts. Roughly once a month I change water now. Ive slakened off of late, because im topping off around 3 litres of FW a day. :S

I do a 15-20% every 3-4 weeks. depending on how much RO I have left after topoffs and how much NO3 is in the water. Usualy change at 5ppm.

I'm pretty much the same as everyone else 10% every weekend, seems to work well for me as i've not detected nitrates for over 7 mths now :good:
