How often do you test your water??

I think most people get a feel for whats happening in there tank - They know if how there fish behave - Where they hide - How and where they like to swim and subtle changes are easily spotted by most

I rarely Check it - Like most - twice a week to begin with then the day after a water change

Then when I dig to the back of my fish cupboard and find the kit about 1-2 months.

I did do a few checks after I changed my substrate to sand though - nothings changed

i really do think i should test it more often but i have got a hardy set of fish

Glad to hear that most of you are the same as me. I thought I was just being lazy!!

i wish i could test more often but i only test when i think theres a problem ..i dont have the money to do all that testing all the time

Ususally test mine about once a week, if i notice fish doing anything a little more out of the ordinary i might up this to twice. Will be testing it more frequently though this week - just bought a 60"x18"x24" tank so have to move them across and add a LITTLE more water as mine is 180L now
