I re-arrange my tank every month and usually i get new plants, and this month it is going to be somwhere in the 1000$ since i am getting a new tank

I put 20, but it's probably much less than that now. My declor is 24, and that lasts about 2 months. Now that I mix my own ferts from dry chemicals, that price is next to nothing in comparison to how long is lasts. When I was stocking my tank with plants, it was 15-20 every few weeks, but I don't anticipate needing anything in the near future.

Agreed, Bank balance took a massive dent this weekend because of fish and supplies, I don't really want to think about the total cost.
