The bottle says 1 tsp per 10 gallons. So for 2 gallon it would be 1/5 tsp (impossible to measure, but I'm not done). So if I did it 1/4 strength it would be 1/20th tsp for 2 gallons or if I did it half strength it would be 1/10th tsp for 2 gallons. I have a 1/8 tsp, 1/16 tsp and 1/32 tsp. Which would you use for a two gallon tank?

btw I am adding about 1 tsp per gallon of salt and I am going to remove the carbon from the filter cartridge before adding the meds.

all righty then. I guess I'll try 1/16 tsp and hope it's not too much.

I would just use 1/16th and not fill it to the rim

better to be safe than sorry

According to the instructions, the recommended dosage for MelaFix is 1 teaspoon for every 10 gallons of water. 1 teaspoon is 5 millilitres (ml) or 100 drops (if you are using a dropper).

So, the amount of MelaFix to add to a tank with 2 gallons of water should be 1 ml or 20 drops of MelaFix.

However, I wouldn't use that much. If I do use Melafix for any of my injured fish, I use only 4 drops for 2 gallons.

Melafix is good but powerful stuff. Even with that small amount dropped into the water, I can still smell the strong tea tree fragrance.

Thanks-I'll go with 4 drops in a cup of tank water, then I'll use 2 drops in the new water when i do water changes. (I'm doing them daily, 50% each time).
