How Much Light

Hiya, can anyone tell me ideally how much artificial light your tropical tank should have/need. Thanks.

just enough to see whats inside.

Just use the standard lighting system your tank came with will be fine, but obviously if you have alot of live plants your going to possibly need more light or for different types of fish require different lighting, for example I use a modified blue light for my striolatus tank
