I think the moral of the story is check the price of what you're buying at some point before paying and leaving the store, rather than starting another rant at pets at home when they're really not responsible. If you weren't happy to pay twelve quid you could've put them down!

Good, I hope so! I get so sick of these tirades against pets at home! They haven't done anything wrong, they've put some lights on shelf priced £11.99, someone has bought two, got home, decided they didn't want to pay that much, and come online to complain about the price. The more sensible option would've been to take them back and buy some elsewhere.

Not that this hasnt gone a bit off topic, I was merely complaining about the extra price since I last bought them from there, and the low quality.

There's nothing wrong with that, i have a long list of faulty items/poor customer service from our local pets at home store. I don't air them much, but sometimes its healthy, if you want to jump to their defence, your welcome, but it is rather an odd thing to do.

I'm happy for the Moderators to lock this.

Is this really turning into an argument? He was only saying that he's paid over the odds for something and the quality is poor. Surely people can talk about these things on this FISH forum seeing as they are fish related? I'm not trying to get involved in this argument just an observation.

I don't think it is particularly over the odds, the price is similar for tubes in my branch, and any faults on the tubes are the fault of interpet, not pets at home. You may think its odd that I'm defending them, I think it's odd that you would admit you didn't look at the price but still manage to make it sound like they've done something wrong just for charging that.
