I have a 55 gallon fish tank with these fish,

- 1 Male Guppy
- 1 Female guppy
- 3 Zebra Danios
- 2 Turquoise Rainbow Fish
- 1 Male Albino Sailfin Molly
- 1 Male Harlequin Sailfin Molly
- 1 Female Dalmation Molly
- 1 Male Gold Doubloon Molly
- 1 Male Neon Swordtail Tetra
- 1 Redtail Shark
- 2 Panda Cories
- 1 Twig Catfish
- 3 Chinese Algae Eaters
- 1 Female Red Platy
- 1 Female White Molly
- 2 Female Mickey Mouse Mollies
- 1 Male Baloon Molly
- 1 Female Hawaiian Platy
- 3 Blind Cave Tetras
- 1 Unkonwn Baby (Most likely a platy)

I feed 3 times a day, but how much do I feed them, is there any way to tell most of the fish are between 1 - 1 1/2 inch long. Could you tell me the possible volume in mL?

holy cow! you got a collection there. :hyper:

volumes/amounts are hard to pin down.
the usual formula if to feed as much as the fish can eat within 3 or 4 minutes.
the exact amounts, you are going to have to judge for yourself, through experience.

for me i only feed every other day.

I started like you.
feeding twice a day plus treats.
the vast majority of which ended up in the filter.
now the boi mass ended up being able to handle it.
but it meant that cleaning (filter) was a monthly/bimonthly chore.
and the substrate was full of rotting food. (you couldn't actually see it, until it was being syphoned)

can i suggest you drop back to feeding, once a day.
whilst doing that, check how long the food lasts.
you then increase or decrease the amount you are giving, until you fall within the formula.

you also have a couple of stocking problems, IMHO, but we can address those in a later post/thread

mainly the 3x cae's
as they age they get grumpy. and develop a taste for the slime coat of other fishes. (they become nasty critters.

and, to an extent, the RTBS.
these too get very aggressive, or can.
with your level of stocking, I think you may end up with trouble.

on your stock levels:
I hope you have a big filter there.
that's a lot of poop to process.

yes chinese alge eaters get rid of them now i had to but not before he was being a *blank* and you have ti get rid of them igot 4 dollars credit with my 4 inch one

Eric, yes I agree to raptorex's reply. You also need to imagine how big your fish tummy is and give no more that the fish tummy can accept. Give no more. If you do, then the fish will be excessively fed wit the likelihood of more poops, water issues and to the extent of shortening their life. Yes, shortening their life.
