How Many Puffers In A 100ltr Tank?

i want some tank mates for my puffers what you recommend?
i only have 1 puffer at the moment as this was only one left in shop but are planning more - i want some shoaling fish to acompany them

Figure-8 puffers are only somewhat reliable as community fish; although not particularly aggressive, they are certainly occasional fin nippers. If you're going to keep them with tankmates you're going to want to choose fast moving fish like monos, and that's not viable in 100 litres. If nothing else, there's not enough space for fast fish to keep their distance from the puffer.

I'd perhaps concentrate on benthic fish that don't attract the attention of the puffer. Gobies for example work reasonably reliably, particularly if the gobies have lots of hiding places. They're quite good at darting away at the first sign of trouble.
