will I have decieded to talk with my frined and see if he can take care of my clown loach till i get a bigger tank. that will clear room in my tank and what can i fit?

I can tell you right off that those neons would appreciate some friends!

Yup, Rams will fit.

Just so you know, when the neon tetras and danios dissapear, the pictus cats did it :D Pictus cats get 6" long and are predatory catfish with big mouths :)

Ooooo... I should warn you that I once had 3" pictus tear apart a krib. Certainly a good idea to find a new home for him. Good call Dwarfs.

only problem i have is i cant find any rams at my lfs they didnt ever heard of them, but that was petsmart im going to a petshop that is huge and has xperts on sunday , that is if my friend wil take my loach by then.....do rams need buddys?

If it was my pictus those neons would already be long gone...

Funny, my pictus left my cardinals completely alone, only went after other bottom dwellers. Goes to show it's not worth chancing them with any small fish!

Rams are best kept either alone, or in monogomous pairs (compatable male and female)

thx if i can ever foind a ram im gonna get one, what is the coolest must common ram?

an easy to care for ram is the bolivian ram (i just got a male and female today :) )

They don't bother other fish and pretty much mixed with my guppies all afternoon.

The male seems to have defined a 3 inch pvc pipe a put in for them as his territory.

Another common and colorful ram is the german blue ram.

check the New World (or american) cichlids in the fish index or google them up!

Maybe you can ask your lfs about dwarf cichlids. That's basically what ram are, although not all dwarf cichlids are ram... :S

I would put in 2 rams, 1 male and one female and hope they will bond

as for zebras and neons, i really don't know as i'm not into those types of fish

Find out if your LFS will take back fish. If so you stand the best chance of forming a good pair by purchasing a few. Better then hoping, IMO.
