How Many Hours?

I planted a 9 gallon tank and I bought a lamp is 20w t4
so its a 2.2 wpg
so how many hours do you recommend to let it on
I really don't whant a high tec tank


any opinions?

The WPG rule doesn't reall work on small tanks. You do have enough light though.
Whether a tank is high tech or not doesn't depend on how long the lights are on for, but how much light (the intensity) there actually is.
I'd have the lights on for 8hours.
Plant heavily and dose 1.5ml of Easycarbo and 1.5ml of Tropica Plant Nutrtion+ everyday. With this combination, you should achieve a healthy planted tank.
Ideally the flow produced by filters and/or powerheads should be 300litres per hour.
