How Many Guppies In A 8 Gallon?

Does it specifically have to be guppies? There are so many other fish you could put a betta in with without having to worry about him tearing them to shreds when your back is turned.

I'll watch him until around midnight to see if anything happens.

Btw the GPH of the AquaTech 5-15 Filter (Mine) is 105GPH.

I don't plan in doing this for a week or two because i still have some things to buy. I just wanted to confirm what i'll do.

Bettas know when they are being watched though. They are not stupid. I've had 4 of them and they knew when I entered the room, all of them looked at me everywhere I went.
But when they are alone, they can do what ever they like. So you can either put a camera to supervise them or... wait till the morning and see how your guppies are doing the next day.

I can leave a camera for a while but I'll defiantly check in the morning. If all fails, I'll do 2/8 gal with 1 Betta/4 Guppies
