I have a 10 gallon tank with just 1 platy, and 1 serpae tetra right now. I'd like to keep a total of 5 fish. 3 serpae, and 2 platy.

I know tetras need 6 or more, but obviously my tank isnt big enough for that many. I bought the tetra before I knew it was a schooling fish.

10 gallons is plenty for 6 serpaes and 3 platies. Dont follow the inch per gallon rule here.

I have a 10 gallon tank with 5 serpae tetra, 6 fruit tetra, 2 neon tetra, and a guppy. I know this is too much and would not reccomend doing so, but they have been doing fine.
