I already have a red tailed black shark B) , a bottom feeder  , and 3 other fish :D in my 10 gallon tank. i want to by 4 neons 8) and 1 of a bluish fish -_- to make a even 10 fish but is 10 gallon enough for 10 fishes? :hyper: i really want to know! :-(

No not at all your pleco will get to big for that tank. :grr: You might be able to get the other fish though. :D

What kind of pleco do you have and how big are the fish you already have? The rule i have always followed is one inch of fish (minus heads and tails) for every ten square inches of surface area,in a ten gallon this limits you some what and i would say you are probably stocked to capacity already and may be overstocked as the fish grow.

Watch the shark... my dad had one in an aquarium with 3 platties, an algae eater, a catfish and a neon tetra and he killed a couple of them :(
Yes, the pleco's going to grow... when I bought mine less than 6 months ago, he was 2". Now he's 5" and I have a 10 gallon. He knocks everything over with his tail because he's getting a bit too big for an aquarium with plants, rocks, etc in it.

the general rule of thumb is 1 inch of fully grown fish per gallon of the tank. and yeah you pleco (if it is a common one) will out grow your tank.

Kevin007...looks like time to get a bigger tank...hehehe

...CFC...why do you keep fish with no heads or tails ? :S  :p

Puff i find them easier to photograph that way, they dont move about so much and they dont need feeding    :fun: :fun: :hyper:

I don't know about the rest of the guys in your tank, but in my case one pleco was one too many in a ten gallon. He ate everything that hit the bottom and I was unaware that my husband was also feeding the fish, so with his "very efficient digestive tract" he was decorating for christmas. I had to find him some people with a bigger tanK! :fun:
