How many Dwarf puffers in a 5 gallon?

I can probably get a 5 gallon set up for 30 bucks, how many DPs could I fit in? I have live plants and plenty of rocks and PVC for hiding

2 u might be able to fit 3 in there

2-3 max with around 6 different caves/hiding spots, all lines of site from one cave to another should be broken up with plants/decor.

1 DPs are messy and dont like each other. no matter how many hideing spaces there are they still have some requirements for territory. its jsut one in a 5 mabey 2 in a7 and 3 in a 10

Lots of people have had good luck keeping 2 dwarfs in a 5 gallon. Just make sure there are plenty of plants and caves and that there is good filtration.

A couple days ago I change my mind , I'm getting a ten The tanks should both be the same price anyway Don't worry about plants, I have too many in my other tanks, I might get a bunch of tiny flower pots for caves, they look nicer than PVC I'll have three in a ten, and if algae is Really bad, I'll get a couple otos
