I've got a 75G / 300L tank, and I have 5 Discus.

When they're fully grown, I think it might be a little cramped. I'm hoping 2 will pair off, and I can remove the other three!

Thanks for the advice.

by the time i need too, my cichlids and archer fish will be in my indoor pond and the discus can have the 125 gallon they are in.

In retrospect, I should have moved this to the New World Cichlids section. The votes and feedback there would have been more accurate as those that post on a regular basis in there know cichlids much better than the general population of TD. I didn't vote simply because I couldn't cast an informed vote but that doesn't stop others, thus 4 people voting for 10 or more which, I'm pretty sure wouldn't work. Posting the same pole over there would no doubt yield different results.

i voted 1 becuase at the time there was a 'none' option.

i think all the votes for 1 and over 10 are people basically saying, none, they put the extremes becuase there wasnt a 'none' option at the time. even if you repeated it in the same part of the forum 90% of the results would be for none.

I say 5 if its barebottom, species only and you do daily waterchanges. Since i'm sure you wont do any of those things I would just save my money and buy some guppies or something.

Drug up an old thread but it has relevance as its being discussed in another one of fruityfish's threads.
