I've been told none all the way to 15.

Dimentions:
12" thick
32" Long
and i don't remember how tall. if i were to guess i'd saw 2.5 feet tall
*just for discus up to 4 inches.
i'll be able to get a bigger tank soon.

Not enough info there... There are some 40g's where it's possible, others where it's not. 5 is a minimum group size to spread agression, and you need a tall tank for them...

Post the dimentions and I'll add my vote then :good:

Certainly know nothing about discuss other than they need pristeen water. As far as the dimensions are concerned, a 24hx12wx32l is 40 gallons.

I am not going to vote because It seems a little small. 5 Discus and you might see quite a bit of aggression. 4 Discus and you may see the same thing. Not really ideal for Discus.

Whoever told you 15 Discus for a 40 gallon should be sent to jail.

Unfortunately, there isn't a zero option....

The tank isn't large enough for any

All the best

sorry if i made myself unclear it was for small discus. i'll be able to get a bigger tank when the discus grow.

I would vote, but I clicked the view results and void vote button before you edited...

The results would be somewhat, erm, questionable to the more experienced Discus keepers one would say.....

All the best
