as some of you might know i set up a cory tank with green and gold stripes. they have spawned and i want to remove the green stripes and put then in their own tank but how many gold stripes can i house in the tank? its 3ft(w)x1ft(d)x15inches(h) about 100L. i have at the minute 6 adults and 1 juvi plus what ever number of fry possible once they are big enough, i want to keep some of the fry when they are bigger and the remainder will be sold either on here if anyone is interested or for store credit at lfs as they are keen too!
i was hoping to have roughly 15-20 adults in the tank is this ok? can i have more....?

Seeing as they are happy when in a 'dense' population of themselves and presumably there are no other fish in there then I'd go for 15-20 aswell.
Probably sticking to 15...just so that you have a 'species tank' that you can pop fry in to grow out if you wanted, as opposed to having it 'full' and needing to raise them elsewhere.

Make sure you have plenty of filtration on though, as it's a purely cory tank you can get some really good flow going.

cool, yes it will just contain gold stripes and a couple of amano shrimps that are current residents.... i have a hillstream loach in at the minute but will remove that asap and put it in another tank. :good:
