How Many Clean Up Crew To Add At A Time

Hi,

I am in the process of setting up a marine tank. I have a Boyu Nano tank which holds 130 litres.

I currently have 4, hermit crabs and 2 emerald crabs, a blenie, 2 humbugs, a gobbie,a cleaner wrasse and a blue tang.

I was wondering how many snails and crabs you could add without it affecting the balance of the tank?

I have been looking at some on-line sites and was wondering if anybody has any experience with buying on line?

Any info would be appreciated.

I have the same tank as you I have 5 dwarf blue legged hermits, 1 Mithrax and 1 poclean crabs, 3 Turbos,2 Cerith and 10 nass these seem to be doing a great job on my tank.

Sorry to go off topic, but I must say IMO a blue tang is far to big to have in your tank, they need a lot of swimming room to remain healthy

You could add cerith and Nassarius Snail they will help keep the sand turned over, 6 of each would be fine and a few turbo snails would do well too start with 3 and see how they go

I have 6 astraea and 6 nassarius snails in my 29g and they do fine for me. I have minimal algae. Just don't add to much at once because when their food source is gone they will be too.
