I have a 7 gallon tank that i want to keep some bettas in. I am fully aware that male bettas cannot be kept together so i shall be modifying the tank with dividers. How many bettas do you think i could have in it? 2 maybe 3? What do you think?

I would say 3. 2 if you wanna give em extra room but they don't really need it (Though they might really like it). it's up to you really. I have a 5 gallon and I'm gonna have 3 betta's in there. If it's nice and heavily planted they will be fine.
BTW - do your dividers have holes in them so water can get through?

Yes i'm following one of the previous posts on here with the plastic canvas method so yes they do have holes for water to flow through

not arguing or nothing...but wont the bettas constantly flare at each other? as i have read this greatly reduces life expectancy, but this is just a comment and i really dont know anything.

Well great. you should be all set.
I got to think and I realized that you could put up to 4 bettas if you wanted. bettas need about 1 gallon each so if you have 4 of them, each fishy gets about 1.75 gallons. which is actually pretty good.

Can someone send me the link to the plastic canvas method? Im having issues with my divider. Thanks!! :D

If you have lots of plants and hiding places it shouldn't be a problem.

Whats the plastic canvas method? It sounds interesting.

Good question. I thought about this before but the plastic canvas is actually very hard to see through even with the holes in it cos they are tiny. Plus if you have a few plants like buggyboutbettas said then i guess there shouldn't be a problem?
