How Many Assassin Snails

I have a minor snail infestation, and they seem to be eating my live plants. Having looked in to all the options, I have chosen assassin snails. I wondered how many would be the right amount for a 65 litre tank stocked with the fish in my signature.

dont know if what i got is right but it works iv got a 400litre 4ft tank not loads of plants but i only have 3 assassin snails and they keep all other snails at bay

maybe at end of day get 2 if its not enough get a couple more

Get a few. They will breed in the tank. No matter how few you start out with, if you have one of each sex and lots of good food, you will not end up with two.

I put about 6 or 7 into my 45 gallon well planted and pond snail invaded tank. A few months later and I am moving snails into other tanks and scavaging breeder tanks for snails to drop into that 45.

Incidentally, the little beggars really like Hikari algae wafers when they run out of snails.
