How many african dwarf frogs can I have in a 60 litre (15 gallon)

I was thinking around 10

Thanks,
Jonty :good:

10 would be fine but dont filter it as they have over developed swim bladders and hate viabrations

bi daily water changes would be required

I was just worried about the height, 'cause I know a few people with a 15gal that's heightwise, not length. ):

Sorry I haven't replied, the dimentions are 60 long x 30 deep x 35 high

But I hear you should only fill it 12 inches high.

My filter came with the tank so I'm guessing it's the lowest spec for it, so not too powerful. Would it be ok - I don't rewally have time for 2 water changes a day

Thanks to everybody who contributed

Jonty

no you cant use a filter dwarf frogs, you must do the water changes every two days. they have over developed swim bladders and HATE viabrations

No vibrations, but can't you lower the filter's current though?
Thats what I did, though the filter's current doesn't reach to the bottom.

I have never heard this before. Source, please.

I remember hearing, they don't like currents. (Probably related to truck's post)
But can't you lower the filter's water current? (Some have a little knob where you can turn it to make it slower/faster)

read it on here, and on another forum, i will try and find the one on this forum, but for obvious reasons im not allowed to link to the other one
