Silly me
Fish Addict
My friend tank sprung a leak 2 weeks ago, he is giving up the idea of fish keeping now totally (no space in the house) last night the seal on the bottom glass give totally and he phoned me. He sold me everything he had, not to much but he also needed the money
Now I have:
2 very large Kuli Loaches 4"
1 Channel catfish 8"
1 Silver/Bala shark 5"
2 Rosy barbs 2" /or less
1 huge black widow 2.5"
1 Tiger barb ( might be food soon )
1 glow light tetra 1"or less
1 Horse face 4"
1 Red tail shark 2"
3 Cory's huge 3" if not more
1 unknown tetra 2" (no color might see tonight)
2 plecos 4" other one might be a little more
+- 20 molly’s
the tank is a 20G quarantine tank that was running for 2 weeks now with lots of gravel and rock and all the plastic plant I could find to give the fish some cover
I don’t have a bigger, open tank now for then but the 20G would these fish make it for 4 to 5 day's???
What can I do to ensure there survival,
I have fed about 30+ mollies to my Clown knife's last night and the only rainbow fish made a jump and was dried this morning.
Some of the fish is about 6 years old and huge in size, I would really like to keep then alive for the 4/5 days.
I am looking at fixing the bottom of the old tank but might not be ready before next week, I need a new bottom glass, the I still need to remove the broken one reseal and let to dry, work, sleep, The tank also doesn’t fit in my car so I need to wait till Sunday to borrow my Dads bakkie. The LFS delivers and I can have a new 55g on Saturday, but no matter what option I choose I will have to put all these fish in a new uncycled tank.
