How Long To Aclimatise..

tonight, get a torch and feed after lights out.... leave it a while (with the lights in the room out)...

Hopefully your eyes will adjust after a while and you'll be able to see the fish... keep an eye on him and I bet he's coming out... just very shy...

the torch will allow you to see for definite ;)

puta wafer in his cave he should eat it cos he will feel secure in there what else do you have in the tank with him

cheers dane

Just 3 Danios (2 leapord & 1 i'm not 100% if its zebra or another), which he had in the last aquarium with him and my new addition 6 white cloud mountain minnows - i can see him move about & he seems healthy enough, just really bugging me now as ive never had this problem
Heres a wee pic - not sure if it will help, but this is the furthest ive seen him out since teh changeover

Its not that daft... I have hours of night vision footage of a catfish pellet in a breeding trap :D...
All just to make sure our zebra fry were eating :)

It dosnt take long to check with fast forward :D

Well he still hasnt eaten :-( Thats 5 days now - i hope he starts eating his pellets soon - i've even tryed a different brand - i really hope this is normal.

Thanks for posting those pics! Once i get my slate cave here & in I'll re-arrange one corner to make it a little more shady & covered.

How does he feel about cucumber??

Quick update - all's going well :D I left the landing light on one night by mistake & woke up for a midnight snack lol - to find him eating :good: I'm not sure if it was because the light was on though - so on the lookout for a form of low light kit i can attach for night

Oh and regard the cucumber - i lost my old clip somewhere in moving teh old aquarium :( - bought a new one today so i can add some of that tonight
