How Long Should Aquarium Fish Live? (an Expected Lifespan Guide)

I have a ten gallon tank, and Ive heard you should have 1 gallon per inch of fish, and the Striped Raphael catfish grows to around 9 1/2 inches, according to wikipedia atleast... So would he be comfortable in a 10 gallon?

The 1" per gallon guide only applies to small fish under about 3 inches. A raphael would definitely need a larger tank, probably in the 30 to 50 gallon range.
