Hi all,

I have an un cycled tank and I am still considering what to do with it..as in occupant wise..

I was wondering could I set the tank up for them e.g. plants and then just 'plonk' them in and let it cycle that way?

Thanks, D.

most shrimp are VERY sensative to ammonia. The tank should be completly cycled or other means of removing ammonia. Don T.

Yep as stated all shrimp are highly sensitive to bad water conditions. I'm not sure you really understand cycling though as shrimp add very little to the bioload of a tank so even if they were super hardy would not produce enough waste to cycle a tank.
