Hello there, I am new to the hobby and have been doing all my research and have come up with the following ideas/plan
The tank is 100 litres with the following dimensions, 23.5 inches Long, 13.5 inches width and 23 inches high.
Have got a piece of mopai wood soaking now and will be buying Argos play sand tomorrow and rinsing it over the weekend.
I have purchased a Tetra EX700 filter so will be over filtered.
For stocking I was thinking of the following
6 lemon tetra ( could this be 10?)
6 julli corys
3 pearl gouramis (2 females 1 male)
I was also wondering if a bristlenose would fit in or getting some shrimp may work? Or any other suggestions.
I will be lightly planting the plank and adding a few rock caves and hideouts.
And of course I shall be carrying out a fishless cycle first!
I think iv covered everything here. Any input and guidance will be gratefully received and accepted.

Dwarf shrimp like cherries will be eaten by the pearl gouramis, but amano shrimp would work. I'd go for

10x Lemon Tetras
6-8x Corys
3x Pearl Gouramis
1x Bristlenose
8x Amano Shrimp

Thank you, was a bit unsure as to which shrimp would be best. :)

Bristlenose would also be fine in this set up, and I love the little guys so I'd always go for them over shrimp. Some of them can be quite timid though, and it is a shame when you get BP who is always invisible in the tank. So differnt strokes and all.

Fingers crossed he will settle in and enjoy the surroundings!
