cfc, thanks, when I get my tank going I am now thinking about starting off by getting one of the puffers, probably a dwarf or a, I think there called spotted? one, and get one male mbuna and 2/3 females... If they dont seem to work out I will make sure the pet store will let me take the puffer back to them... (I dont think one would do good in my 20gallon wich will have a frog in it.)
crazy, wow, thats horrible, that must have been some site to see one of your poor frogs get it foot chomped off
If I do decide to try a betta i will make sure I can return him if he go's at my frog, and also I think I'll let my froggie grow some before I try a betta so his legs will be harder to fit in the bettas mouth 
I like only a couple of the puffers, (and also lfs dosent have many diff kinds), so hopefully they will work out with the Malawi's, otherwise I could just have a couple puffers swim around in the 55gallon, or have a stocked Malawi tank... oh the decisions
