How Do You Know When Your Getting Old

i went to the jubilee
party in denim jacket
ripped T shirt and bleach
marked cords with DM's
on i suppose i got bitten
by the punk bug it was
to be different to anyone
else i am in my forties
now and still like punk
but now i also like classical
music as well

I've only found 1 good punk band in the modern world. Skintight Jaguars, london based punk band, they're so arragant they refuse to sign to a record label haha. Really good live though, full of raw energy.

It's a shame the pistols had to split, near the very end of their era they released some absolutely blinding songs; Stepping Stone is one of my all time favourite songs.

I'll listen to all music really, but pretty much avoid modern pop music, it's all digitalised and crap. And they don't know the meaning of lyrics.

i remember when i could buy
20 ciggies for 25p if you were
short on the night of of the youth
club.at the shop you could get five ciggies
and five matches for 10p that was way
back in the 70s like

Oh I forgot to mention that my daughter said I must be getting old because when I'm at a bus stop I will happily chat away to strangers (you know, having the usual moan about the service, discussing the weather etc)...she reckons that's what old biddies do! Cheek!

I never have really felt that old till the other day when a group of boys were playing footie outside my house and their ball got stuck in the tree. I went out with a large pole to see if I could get the ball for them but it was a bit high so I climbed on the fence and climbed the tree so I could reach the ball. I heard one of the lads whisper to his mate "aint she a bit old for climbing trees"
