How do you access chat?

Liliano and stelback have you tried clicking this link and letting it download: http/java.sun.com/webapps/getjava/Browse...www.java.com:80

Tried that link and still get the same thing. a window at the top that i cant get a cursor into and a public and private band at the bottom of the screen. In the status bar a message that say applet tstenback started.

Can't access - Something to do with Java I think

I can access web based chat (Giga Chat I think?) but not IRC

I'm on a network at work - Thin clients! So I have no local storage to download anything - and my boss wouldn't sign a request to get chat set up to talk about fish
