How do we turn off auto correct?

I am trying to type in re-dose (without the - in the word) in a thread and the stupid piece of crap auto correct keeps changing the word to redoes. This is pissing me off.

How do we turn auto correct off so it doesn't do this?

the auto correct screws up other words too, not just redose

redoes worked above because I didn't put anything after it. When I tried to type this bit, auto correct stuffed it again.

I leave 'highlight misspelt words' on. Yes it does highlight fishkeeping words which it doesn't like but it also spots a lot of words I've mis-typed.

Have you downloaded English (Australian) in Windows settings? English (United States) is the default for English speaking countries but I have downloaded English (United Kingdom) and set that as my default.

Just go to your settings and turn off auto correct. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad (Which runs on a Window platform.)

Just go to the setting search bar and type in "Auto Correct". You should see it.
