cos i'm frightend a new fish would catch it
from the old one

I've had great success with Maracide and velvet on betta fry. It's good stuff.I use a bit of salt and bettamax as well.
It's always a good idea to clean the tank before you get a new fish anyway. Hopefully he'll pull through for you and you won't have to worry about that.

Hey Wuv
Speaking of salt , do you use it with your adult bettas ?. How much per gal.
I'm setting a tank up for some mailorder bettas.
Thanks

Any online scource for Bettamax. I can't find it local. ???

Thanks Again
KF

I'm pretty sure you guys have Maracide in the UK, but if not you will need something that is copper based and treats parasites.
Also, are you sure it's velvet? Have you shown a flashlight on him and noticed a golden'ish sprinkling?

KF~ No,I don't use salt.

i'm usin
waterlife protozin

at the minute is this any good im on my 3rd day of treatment and he still looks just the same as the first day really ill not movin much plus ive added salt to is tank
and some 1 told me to turn the light of because velvet loves the light (so i'm told)

Sorry Stevieo
Didn't mean to step on your post. I really thought some answers about salt and bettamax, might help us both ( and others ). I see my mistake. You have my apology.
Good luck with your fish.
