I agree with Alessa, cook her something really romantic and set out the place especially for her (not old stuff) or take her somewhere really nice!

get her a bunch of her faviorite flowers (not nessaceraly roses)
run her a bath with candles around / book her an appointment for a facial or massage ect at your local beautisian, but sometimes its just about making her smile!

Depends on the girl.

Some girls just like to know that you'll be there when they are in need. That you'll be a shoulder to cry on.

Others like to have fun with you, so going out bowling or down the pub, or even take her paintballing.

Some girls want romance, a home cooked meal (pasta is always easy and pretty romantic) with a bottle of sparkling wine, just the 2 of you. Or alternatively a posh restaurant.

Some girls want commitment. To show them you're ready to take things to the next level, whatever that may be, maybe popping the big question, maybe moving in together. Note that you can suggest moving in together and if they aren't ready, you will still get the points because you've shown you are ready for that commitment.

Like I say, some girls would hate a day paintballing, where others will be pretty bored by your attempts at real cooking. Most likely you'll have a mix. There are other types too but I think I've covered the basics.

Really it's about how well you know your gf. Do you know what she would like? If they like a bit of romance and adventure, get some money together and do a weekend in Paris. At the right time of year it can be pretty cheap. Plus as well as the trip, what's more romantic than a proper French restaurant? If you wanted to pop the big question, where better to ask than the observation deck of the Eiffel tower? Plus if she's excited about going to Paris with you, you'll get a good sign of if she's likely to say yes.

Respect her. Love her for who she is and let her know that. Next time she has a problem, just say "Babe, I know you upset, but I just wanted to let you know that I love you and nothing is going to change". That'll work wonders. But, the key thing is, don't just tell her how much she means to you, SHOW HER. Ever heard of the phrase "actions speak louder than words?". If she's not feeling well, bring her over some soup (corny, but it'll score points), if she is stressed out, take her on a surprise picnic by a lake or at a park, if she just needs you to be there for her, then do it. That's why I am still with my girlfriend (a year and 5 months), because I don't just tell her how much I love her, I show her. If your girlfriend really means that much to you, finding ways to tell her and show her should come almost naturally. Good luck.

i have been with my missus as i call her now for 13yrs
and she means a lot to me with me being ill she as helped me through
a lot in the past and i tell her as many times as i can in the day that i love her and i dont care were i am and neither dose she but when i first
told her i think it might of been in the super market or something
like that i turned her around so i was looking in to her eyes took hold
of her bay both hands and told her how much she means to and how much i love
her she means more to me than life itself and i dont know what i would
do without her as life would have no meaning any longer

I do that kind of thing most weeks anyway so them ones are out.

I might only be 12 but here
take her to the place you took her on the first date then fill the room with her favorite flowers and have her favorite colours all around the room and then make (or order) her favorite meal then have her favorite song play and get down on one knee and tell here you love her and how you feel and give her a nice ring that she might have had her eye on
