I put her tank next to the males and am feeding her a few extra bloodworms a day. Is there anything else I can do?

And if she's a peach color, will she show breeding bars? I've never seen a peach with bars.

All the info you need is at the top of the forum in the sticky section.
And, eggbound is a bad thing (wrong term) - and in stuck
Good luck
:D

yeah...eggbound=bad one of my females died within an hour of her first symptoms of being eggbound... but that was awhile ago

I checked the links, and they just said to condition them and keep the water clean, but that sounds way to easy.

Keep her water clean, at 79 degrees. Have a soft pH level. Use some IAL maybe, and feed her frozen blood worms x2 a day.

That's what I do and my females are all egg bound. Yup, all of them.

Somebody correct me... I think the correct trem would be "gravid" with eggs.

I don't know... but all my females seems to carry lots most of the time even when I don't prime them up for breeding. Light colored females don't show vertical bars, so she's plump most of the time. :hey:

Ditto. Actually, interestingly, all my girls live together and have the same diet, yet some carry alot of eggs and others seem to carry next to none. Odd really. I'm guessing it has to do with the heirarchy system in the tank. Suprisingly small doesn't mean they're bottom of the ranking either. Most interestingly is that both my female crowntails are top of the heirarchy and both carry a great deal of eggs. Yet one of my largest girls seems to carry none and is quite low in the ranks. :dunno:
Hugs,
P.
P.S:I feed alot of bloodworm and brineshrimp to my girls.
